As a PMO Lead in the Renew team of CAF, the largest charity in the UK by income, I am responsible for driving programme deliverables and best practise, coordinating programme governance, developing and maintaining project plans, preparing reports, and conducting project reviews to ensure effective governance, planning, controls, and monitoring and delivery. I also track dependencies between projects and maintain RAID logs.

As a PMO Lead I was responsible for delivering projects within time, cost and scope and ensuring they were delivered through the appropriate governance process. My responsibilities included financial tracking, maintaining logs, producing regular status reports and updating and maintaining programme and project plans. I also achieved successful delivery of projects, maintained budgets, organised governance meetings and kept RAID logs up to date.

This position is responsible for ensuring an enduring and operable NI/GB boundary for DEFRA stakeholders. The role involves maintaining the risk management strategy, periodic reporting of risk, providing advice on risk and issues, and planning the continuous improvement of risk and issues strategies. Achievements include ensuring compliance, planning periodic reports, developing risk reviews, and providing efficient advice.

As a PMO consultant, I was responsible for designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the Marine & Fisheries EU Exit Programme. My role included managing the programme risks and issues, explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders, maintaining documentation within SharePoint and coaching, mentoring, and training project and programme managers and project support officers on risk management. I was also responsible for the preparation and development of steering committee packs and other management reports.

As a Portfolio Analyst, I was responsible for maintaining documentation within SharePoint, building relationships with key stakeholders, recommending mitigating actions to the business, managing and overseeing governance arrangements, developing and maintaining the RAID log, updating and administering the programme plan, and monitoring effectiveness and controls.

As a PMO Manager, I was responsible for the support function of a PPI Review Project. My duties included coordinating the pre-project approval board and project approval board processes, managing the programme's finances, maintaining the operational risk registers, and updating and maintaining the programme and resource plan. I was also responsible for building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that any issues were identified and appropriate mitigating actions were recommended and tracked through to completion.

As the PMO and Communications Lead, I was responsible for setting up and embedding the PMO function, chairing the weekly Risk and Issues health check meeting, developing and delivering the Programme communication and engagement plan, managing the programme budget, maintaining documentation within SharePoint, and preparing and developing steering committee packs and other management reports.

As a PMO Manager I was responsible for working alongside Vocalink and the Cheque and Credit Clearing Company (C&CCC) to design and build the infrastructure for an industry wide image based cheque clearing system. This system significantly reduced the number of days taken to clear cheques in the UK, increasing industry efficiency and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

As a PMO Lead, I was responsible for leading the Mobile Transformation Programme initiated by Virgin Media. This involved managing the customer transition to a full MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) and designing and building a world class fixed mobile convergent (FMC) business in collaboration with Huawei. During my 2 years of experience, I successfully managed the customer transition, delivered a world class FMC business, improved customer experience, and created a strong partnership with Huawei.

As a PMO Analyst, I provided Mobile Broadband Network Limited (MBNL) with a fully managed end to end operations service, including network operations centre, network performance and optimisation, field support and maintenance, as well as multivendor spare parts management service for its 2G and 3G networks and EE and Three UK deployments of 4G technology. I was also responsible for implementing SAP as a replacement for multiple legacy systems, acting as the SME for EPM, organising and scheduling EPM training sessions for project managers, work stream leads and managers.
