In this role I worked within Trading Platform & Core Technology for the Investment Management Technology team as the sole Test Engineer. Projects I worked on included reviewing, updating and increasing test coverage of the regression Test packs for a large Investment Management application which I became the SME for. I co-ordinated software releases on key components including the test planning and change request management. I also worked with the Stakeholder Improvement team testing small changes made at request of the business users to improve their experience. I completed an analysis of an in house application to aid redesign, tested User Interfaces and co-ordinated UAT testing with stakeholders and performed exploratory & regression testing following an update to a web based (react.js) finance app.

I worked within the Applications team, testing any new software that the firm implemented as well as any change requests made to the firms systems. I was involved in various projects, the biggest of which was the global testing of all systems and software integration following the merger of Herbert Smith with another firm (Freehills) & the Global Active Directory. I travelled to the Belfast, Tokyo & Abu Dhabi offices to perform regression & performance testing of the new build when it was rolled out. One project I led involved exploratory & usability testing of a new in-house software designed for the finance department.
