As a Data Migration Consultant, I was responsible for the extraction, cleansing and transfer of data from the company's existing HR information system (CIPHR) to Cascade. I built routines in Access to import and standardise the data before exporting it in the required format so it could be easily placed within the Cascade Excel template. I also took the opportunity to improve the quality of the data as well as reduce the quantity of values in reference tables to improve the performance in the new system.

I have had 22 years of experience in various roles. I started as a Junior Programmer, gaining skills in development methodologies, analysis and design, scheduling, planning, time management and communication. I progressed through the company, eventually becoming an IT Business Partner for the UK. In 2010, I moved to Canon Europe Limited as an EMEA IT Demand Manager, where I built business cases to support business initiatives.
