I have built a career in Banking and Finance over twenty-five years having had the privilege to work in some of the biggest names. Starting off in retail banking dealing in cash before moving into fund management. My passion to learn and build a varied skillset happened when I moved into the investment side of post trade operations gaining a vast array of experience in settlements within capital markets. Picking up within fixed income settlements before moving into the equities and derivatives space for large corporate investment houses. Moving through different areas within operations learning the aspects of pre-matching, middle office, and contracts to then hone this knowledge and experience moving into Prime Brokerage whereby I utilized this skillset before taking up responsibilities looking after large corporate and tier 1 investment organisations managing their requirements across multi-strategy portfolios. This led me to learning a vast new set of skills in trading and margining accounts for high frequency trading firms, proprietary trading and market making companies to elevate revenues and build strong relationships with my clients and work colleagues. I moved back into operations eight years ago after a fifteen-year career within Prime Brokerage to take up responsibilities managing large teams within the corporate world, taking my career in another direction within transformation delivery, change management, and project management.
