Mark Pratt is Founder and CEO of Project Partners – on a mission to empower people everywhere to deliver excellent change for any organisation.
Starting life as a Software Engineer, Mark became a web developer in both front and back end development at IBM Global Services, before moving into Team Leadership and Project Management specialising in building capability for Financial Services organisations like Barclays, Barclaycard and Royal Bank of Scotland International.
As a contractor, Mark worked at Dixons Carphone Warehouse and MBNA/Bank of America, before taking the role of Head of eCommerce Technology for Bank of America Europe setting the strategy to consolidate online platforms to provide enhanced customer experiences.
Mark then moved into Projects and Programmes at Aviva and Lloyds Banking Group, leading larger and larger Programmes culminating in becoming Programme Director for the final stage of the Verde programme to separate and re-launch TSB Bank in 2013. With budgets of up to ÂŁ780m and teams of over 150 people, Mark forged a reputation of being able to deliver the toughest of Programmes to blue-chip clients on time, on budget and to quality. This then led to his role as Programme Director for the ÂŁ135m separation Programme to separate Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank from National Australia Bank.
With practical experience in varied programme and project management methodologies (Prince2, Six Sigma, Agile) across all elements of project lifecycles, from initiation to delivering business case benefits, Mark is a true exponent of turning theoretical practices into tangible deliverables, who always considers the strategic goals of the project or programme to constantly validate trajectory.
Mark has repeated experience in building high-performing teams of internal or external employees, contractors or professional services personnel, sharing knowledge and empowering team members with a sense of ownership in delivering quality programmes.
Mark brought all of this experience together in 2019 to launch Project Partners, who’ve grown rapidly and from strength to strength since.
